8-9 mile Canoe trip Saturday! Meet in the Nair parking lot at 8:15 am. I know this is early but if you want to go be there! No bitching or you will be flipped out of a canoe!
Weather: Saturday its going to be partly cloudy with a high of 49 and a low of 36. Remember we will be out on the water so the temperature will vary.
Clothing: Try not to wear cotton/ jeans because if you get wet you will stay wet and be cold. Try to wear under armour or other types of clothing. Wear a lot of cotton and you will be miserable.
What to Bring: Do NOT wear flip flops. Wear sturdy shoes or water shoes of some type.Possibly bring Rain gear. Make sure you bring an extra set of clothes in a dry bag (Walmart has a cheap set, it might be a good investment) or put your clothes in a couple of garbage bags so they don't get wet. Also, bring some type of lunch and water to drink. Obviously for the lunch we won't have a way to heat anything up.
There is a limited number of spots for this trip because of how many canoes we have access to... There is also a cost of $5 for each person to go. ROC is paying the rest of the tab.
